Themes:
Some couples prefer themes because of the festive atmosphere they can lend to a ceremony.
Please email or call with requests and we will help you realize your 'theme dreams'.
Because, as always, it is your wedding.
Receptions:
When the wedding party is a bit larger, many of our couples ask for assistance in planning
pre-wedding celebrations and/or receptions on or near the beach. This, we gladly do,
including seating, tents, music and catering. Luaus, pig roasts, and oysters roasts (a
Lowcountry favorite) are popular choices for an informal setting. We can also provide
smaller, catered picnics for the beach; catered dinners in your beach house; or make
suggestions about where to dine.
Time and Tide:
Once you choose a day, we will work with you to plan a time to ensure that the 'tides will
be out' and the beach will be beautiful. We don't like to use the 'R word' at A Charleston
Beach Wedding, but sometimes that soft, gentle liquid does fall from the sky. In that
case, we have options that will keep you warm and dry. And, remember, they say that for
every rain drop that falls, the bride will cry one less tear in her life. (They also say
that 'happy is the bride the sun shines on'). So, either way, your wedding will be just
perfect.
Beach House Rentals
Many of our couples prefer to rent an island house for a week, either as a honeymoon
retreat or a larger place where families and friends gather. We work with both owners of
private homes and island realty companies to help you find the beach house that's just
right for you. |

Spa Packages
For your special day, we can send some of Charleston's top make-up and hair stylists to
your place on the island; or we can refer you to nearby stylists; and can even provide spa
packages, including massage. However, we also appreciate the fact that most 'beach brides'
prefer the natural look. We have a saying: At A Charleston Beach Wedding, Every
Bride is Beautiful and Every Wedding is Perfect. And it's absolutely true. |
